Breakfast
It's said to be the most important meal of the day, but there are several who will tell you that it can also be the best! Breakfast can mean many things to many people, so I can only give you my views, but setting your self up for the day ahead is essential. It's not just about the eating either, there are some drinks that can form the ingredients to a great breakfast too. Breakfast Foods In general, breakfast foods would normally be seperated into two types - hot and cold. Cold breakfasts are most usually cereals, in many different types, but the principle is the same. Cereal is most often made from wheat or corn and is eaten covered in milk. Some people (that I know of) replace the milk with yogurt and the inclusion of fruit is also common place. Hot breakfasts can range from the humble toast to a full english cooked breakfast. Simple toasted bread and a little bit of butter, or jam / marmalade, can form a great, light breakfast. A full cooked breakfast will most likely be in the form of a bacon and eggs meal. Adding eggs to toast, bacon sandwich - mixing these versatile ingredients can create several fantastic morning meals. Breakfast Drinks Finding something good to wash down your food has always been a key part of creating a meal. Coffee in the morning should be made law! OK, I'll let you off with orange juice and even grapefruit juice as a traditional breakfast drink. The Best Breakfast... ...is, of course, whatever you like the most and often the one you've created all on your own. Sometimes however, it is nice to have someone else make it for you - and this is where the McDonalds Breakfast Meals are a heaven sent luxury.
